The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the June 2026 session. Starting today, June 22, 2026, thousands of candidates across the nation are appearing for this prestigious examination, which serves as a gateway for Assistant Professor positions and Junior Research Fellowships in Indian universities and colleges.
